It may sound peaceful at first, but do not let your guard down. This level is infested with all sorts of monstrosities, including but certainly not limited to; Hounds, The Mangled, Death Rats, Jerry, and Wretches. So many Wretches...
If you find a path leading into the field, I wouldn't advise taking the chance between traveling to Level 9.1 or Level 10. You're better off roaming until the signs that lead to Level 11...admittedly you will have to walk 100-200 miles just to reach your destination, but it's better than dying! Just keep an eye out for Jerry, that stupid parrot, lest you get dragged into his cult.
