Abandoned Irradiated Town
You can see a foul rolling of clouds coming over the horizon, dark and swelling and spilling over. There would be no real time to get nice and settled in a relatively clean house with no rancid odor or corpses in the cellar. There's an old battered house, barely standing against the winds. Crows swarm it in droves, picking off the bodies peaking from the dusty soil. Only fingers and noses at first, but now legs, and arms, and heads.
It's no place you can really call home, but the incessant sickness boiling in your blood and the hazy burning of your skin tells you it may be the last place you lay down your head.
