An evening in the drawing room
The young lady of the house is quietly playing the piano, while the rain softly pours outside. The grandfather clock softly ticks by, how long have you been in this room? The older lady of the quietly hums as she does her stitch work. Is your mind playing tricks on you, or do you actually hear a low whisper? The older lady looks up at you and smiles. She reassuringly caresses your hand, "just relax, dear, you've had a long day. Listen to my daughter's play," you sit back in your chair, reassured again. But how long have you been here?
