Haunted Forest Hike
There are rumors of ghosts in the forests. A trail exists but the fog makes it difficult to see where it leads or if you're alone on it. There are no birds or animal noises, nothing indicating anything is alive in this forest. Sometimes there are whispers, a distant wailing, and every once in a while you hear the crunch of someone walking on the graveled path. No one is ever there.
