Haunted Woods ominous
Scary woods setting You're running, scrambling, brambles tearing at your arms, your clothes, a snapped twig lancing across your cheek. It is All Hallow's Eve, and you have stumbled into the dark heart of the forest where things older and more wild than you could ever imagine lurk. Behind you the drums are getting closer as the host of the Unseelie Court surges, laughing, following behind, riding on wolves and ravens and biting winds.
Will you manage to escape before the hunt catches you? Will you find somewhere to hide until sunlight banishes them back to their dark places under the roots of trees? Or is it too late, and you've already been caught, and the wild faeries are toying with you, like a panther with a mouse?
