Mr. Dark's Travelling Circus
On one of those days when summer fades and the first crisp chill of autumn is in the air, a curious travelling carnival rolled, stumbled, stomped, whirled and heaved itself around our small town and settled on the west side, where the shade of the distant mountain lasted longest. One could not help but be drawn to the noise and colors, as if each display sprung out of one's dreams. Neither the good dreams nor the bad dreams, but those in-between dreams...
