Night in the apocalypse
The sun has gone down and your small group has called it a night. After setting up a fragile little fire to keep the cold of the night away, you offered to take first watch. The others are peacefully sleeping after a long and hard day, and you are left sitting on an unevenly cut tree stump, scanning the dark horizon for any dangers and poking away at the fire, embers flying up into the chill night sky. Apart from the occasional burst of gunfire and heart wrenching scream, the night is as peaceful as your friend's faces, and you begin to let your mind wander freely for the first time all day.
