Nighttime in the Mental Asylum
The year is 1901, and you have no idea how long you have been here. When your family threw you into this asylum, you had no idea how long you would be staying. Tonight is like all others, and you find yourself listening to the dripping pipes, creaking beds, and eerie humming of the charge nurse next to your cell. The sweeping of the janitor, the penciling of your cellmate in their journal, and the steps of the guards barely drown out the whimpering you hear from the next cell over. Sweet dreams...
