Every day, I wake up knowing less and less of who I am.
My skin feels alien to me; my heart pulses with a grotesque beat that is unfamiliar.
Every word sounds distorted, every thought piles up against the slurry of it's peers.
I keep trying to remember why I am even struggling to hold on to what I have -
Until all my edges are sanded down by the passage of time, like harsh and ceaseless storms.
