The City
The rain beats down on the city endlessly. Its constant droning echoes through the grey-stone alleys — snaking narrow and labyrinthine. Strange corvids in varying shades of light grey flock throughout the dismal, crooked buildings. Fog envelops the city.
No one ever chooses to come to the city, but once they’re here, they can never leave. Or maybe they can, no-one’s ever tried.
