The forest at night -Opferwald
There are few places as dark as The Forest at night. Even in the day, the sun shows little inclination to stretch its rays between the vast and grasping branches that stretch up from the trees, whose trunks press together as tightly as whispering conspirators.
Night in the forest carries a darkness where no moon or stars dare interfere. It is a time for the creatures of the forest. The ones that respect the old covenants enough to cower away from even the dimmest light of day. They know the night is theirs and are patient enough to wait for it.
