You're too early, but you couldn't wait to get to your date! You've just missed the bus by a hair and now it started raining cats and dogs!
Right behind you, the gnarled Oak of the old manor reaches into the sky, so you take cover over there. While you start to feel cold, you glance at the house.
You've always thought it looked beautiful on the outside. The grass in overgrown, just like the trees. While crumbling, you can still see how gorgeous it must have been back in the old days. Before the incidents, when ... nevermind, it happend back then when your grandparents weren't even born, so you only know these rumours.
While you look at the open door, lightning strikes!
Startled by the following thunder, you jump closer to the main entrance. Maybe ... well, you can wait there for the next bus in 25 minutes. You've always been curious what it looked inside. People say it still has it's original furniture and while nobody tends to the clocks, they can be heard now and then. In stormy nights. When the wind sounds like a crying woman.
But it's day now. Well ... if the clouds weren't that dark, but you feel brave enough to walk inside.
Ah. The dust everywhere dampens the sound of your footsteps. You start to look around. Huh. It feels just like a lost place, an old house.
And while you carefully try to not leave the open door, it somehow ... pulls you in, into a heavy atmosphere, full of grief and unspoken fear, when you start to hear faint footsteps from above. As if the house suddenly remembers how it felt, when people walked around there.
