Unknown sounds in the darkness
You are outside, having hiked for many hours and lost the other people in your group. You have only your backpack, and darkness fell quickly. Scared, you lay down among the brush in a dense forest of pine, birch, and fir. You’re hiding on the forest floor. Everything is pitch black, so dark that even the moon has hidden its face! You hear the creepy sound of a door creaking open, and for some reason, it stays open. It must be close by somewhere! You hear footsteps crunching on what sounds like a gravel path or road. Whoever it is is dragging something heavy, and suddenly, you hear banging noises against what sounds like metal doors! This is terrifying, as it could be several creatures or strange, eerie humans.
